ANIMAL MEDICAL CENTER OF CRYSTAL LAKE is a privately owned hospital that fosters a collaborative and supportive workplace where veterinary professionals can thrive, grow, and truly love coming to work. We have a skilled and dedicated support staff and provide in-depth diagnostics including ultrasound, and perform a wide variety of advanced soft-tissue and orthopedic surgeries. Our clients have access to CT-scans and rehabilitation services at our AHHA-accredited location at The Animal Doctor in Cary, Illinois.
We offer a competitive salary that commensurates with experience and a yearly production bonus. Pro-Sal pay options are also available for more experienced veterinarians. Requirements
- Perform routine and complex physical examinations on companion animal
- Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and medical conditions across a variety of species
- Develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans
- Administer vaccines, medications, and perform surgical procedures as needed
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records using practice management software and AI assisting software
- Educate and communicate with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care
- Collaborate with our DVM team members, veterinary technicians, assistants, and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an accredited institution
- Active or eligible Illinois veterinary license in good standing
- DEA registration or ability to obtain one
- USDA accreditation or ability to obtain one
- Experience in a clinical veterinary setting preferred
- Strong diagnostic, surgical, and clinical skills aimed at reducing client cost of ownership
- Excellent communication and client relations skills
- Compassionate, team-oriented, and committed to animal welfare
- Option for Part-Time employment
