We are seeking our next Staff Veterinarian in Equine Ambulatory Service. Come work in a vibrant academic program in one of the country’s most thriving Veterinary Schools! Veterinary Clinical Sciences at Louisiana State University (LSU) is searching for an Equine Ambulatory Staff Veterinarian. The position has primary responsibility in the Equine Section of the Large Animal Veterinary Teaching Hospital and will be expected but not limited to performing general and advanced medical and surgical diagnosis and perform procedures on horses presented for health maintenance and medical diseases. This is a staff veterinarian position with potentially a multi-year appointment in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital.
Minimum Qualifications: DVM or Equivalent with 2 years of experience as an equine clinician.
Specific Experience: Experience in equine medicine and/or surgery as it pertains to ambulatory service.
Minimum Certifications/Licenses: Be eligible for Louisiana veterinary license. Obtain USDA accreditation within 12 months of hire.

Additional Information: This position may be required to report to campus in times of emergency and/or closure per PS-18. This position may be required to work nights, weekends, holidays and emergency closures.
