We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Associate Veterinarian to become a valued member of our 4 doctor team. We are equipped with modern diagnostic tools and technology to help our veterinarians provide exceptional care, including:
Digital radiology
Ultrasound
Comprehensive in-house laboratory capabilities
Electronic medical records using ezyVet and VetRadar
We are operational from 7:00am to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday, with no overnights, on-calls, or weekends. All DVMs are scheduled 4 days per week with a consistent schedule of 3 days of appointments, 1 day of surgery/admitted/emergency cases, and 1 weekday off.
As an Associate DVM at Crossroads Animal Hospital, you will provide high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care for small animal patients while utilizing our hospital’s diagnostic resources and team members to support exceptional patient outcomes. This role requires strong clinical skills, compassionate client communication, and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care for small animal patients
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools, including digital radiology, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory testing, to develop effective treatment plans
- Maintain education and compassionate relationships with clients through care of their animals
- Collaborate with a skilled and supportive veterinary team
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities

Requirements
DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school
Eligibility for veterinary licensure in Virginia
Strong medical and surgical skills, or a desire to continue developing them
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
New graduates are encouraged to apply
Availability to work 10-hour shifts, 4 days a week, with 3 days in appointments and 1 day in surgery/admitted/emergency with a consistent schedule
