Are you the vet we're looking for? South Putnam Animal Hospital is in search of the right associate veterinarian to join our team. We have the flexibility to create a full or part time schedule to meet that right person's needs! In addition to competitive pay, generous sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are also available!
We are dedicated to establishing a culture that celebrates all forms of diversity and allows us to be an inclusive service provider in this community.
Our new associate veterinarian loves to practice high quality medicine in a supportive practice and still enjoy a good work-life balance. You want to bond with our excellent clientele and are friendly and confident in your demeanor with clients, patients, and staff. You enjoy practice and know that having access to ultrasound, in house lab, and the ease of digital radiology (standard and dental) plus support from our long term, experienced team - especially our licensed veterinary technicians - makes providing high-level care a breeze.
You have some experience in general practice (internship trained or well qualified new graduates should apply too!) and are now looking for a practice to call home where you can take advantage of all the Hudson Valley has to offer, from outdoor recreation to the culture and nightlife of nearby New York City. You want to thrive in an environment where cases are discussed among the 4 doctors (including our ABVP Canine/Feline board certified Medical Director). You're excited to be part of a team that loves to grow and learn and shares the common goal of providing excellent care. You'll want to bring your dentistry and general surgery skills as well as your desire to learn and expand your abilities, your love for cats and dogs, and your passion for outstanding customer service.
Partnership Opportunities!
We are proud to offer additional growth opportunities for Associate DVMs through our partnership with Veterinary Practice Partners (VPP). VPP has more than 120 veterinarian owners that co-own their individual practices across 140 locations. It is important to note that more than 50 of our partners never owned part of a veterinary clinic until VPP became a co-owner. VPP is uniquely aligned with our partner veterinarians to help them achieve their goals for their practice and their goals for their careers. VPP partnerships thrive through:
Our complementary skill sets—VPP’s operational, marketing, and business acumen and our partners’ clinical and client expertise—to help our practices grow, while also affording our partners more time to follow their passion for medicine and service.
Continued investment in its support team to drive growth, cost savings and enhanced benefits to its partner clinics. Our investment in marketing, analytics, operations and finance are deeper and more comprehensive than our competitors and essential in keeping our co-owners satisfied with our performance.
A deep commitment to core values – most recently manifested in the creation of a VPP Assistance Fund, funded by employees to support employees and their families affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
