Full time position in Cincinnati.  Grady Veterinary Hospital is a 15 doctor 24 hour AAHA hospital in Greater Cincinnati.

What separates us: We are a 24 hour hospital that operates a general practice during the day then transitions to an emergency hospital at night and on the weekends.  If you are searching for a practice where you can utilize everything you learned in veterinary school, look no further. Because we are independently owned, you are able to practice as you see fit and your suggestions about different medications/equipment/improvements are always given serious consideration if not implemented.  Because we have 15 doctors with various experience levels, mentorship is in our DNA and we offer great support for new graduates/associates.  We have rounds 3 times daily and all of our doctors are involved in at least 2 of these.  But what really separates is our culture.  We have created a culture that is positive and fun while doing a very demanding job.  We have made maintaining and improving the culture and work atmosphere priority one for our hospital.  Our ER doctors cut their own soft tissue surgeries(pyometras, c-sections, GI foreign bodies etc.) , so if you like surgery this is good choice.  We also provide extensive mentorship when first doing these surgeries.

What do we have: We are well equipped with CR, ultrasound, endoscopy, in house laboratory run by 2 medical technicians hired from the human side, ICU, isolation area, oxygen cages, digital radiography and a fully equipped dental suite with digital dental radiographs and 2 high speed workstations.  We have a full-time internal medicine specialist, Dr. Beth McElravy DACVIM and a full time surgeon, Dr. Brian Ward , on our team.

What we offer: A competitive salary starting at $175,000.00 for new graduates(more for experienced doctors) and a strong benefit including PTO, health/vision/dental insurance, paid DEA and state license fees, VIN membership, dues for AVMA, OVMA and CVMA(national, state and local VMA's) and a SIMPLE retirement plan(similar to a 401k) with a 3% company match.
