?Meet Our Doctors: Dr. Scheinberg - In 1994, Dr. Scheinberg started his career in a mixed animal practice in Frederick, Maryland. In 1996, he and his wife, Dr. Cheryl Holmes, followed their dream and opened their own practice in Glenwood, Maryland.
Dr. Holmes - Practices small animal medicine and surgery at the Animal Medical Hospital at Glenwood, which she and her husband, Dr. Stuart Scheinberg, opened in 1996. She grew up in a small town in southern Maine, earned her BS from Cornell University in 1988, and her DVM from the University of Tennessee in 1994, with a special interest in internal medicine and animal behavior.
Dr. Wysocki - Grew up in Florida, earning her BS in biology from Florida State University and her DVM from the University of Florida in 2012. After veterinary school, she worked as a large animal veterinarian in Central Florida and treated small animals through a local humane society.
Dr. Waktins - Earned her BS in Pre-Veterinary Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2014 and her DVM from Ross University in 2018, completing her clinical year at the University of Tennessee. With a special interest in equine and camelids, she practiced as an equine vet for a year before joining our practice, where she looks forward to treating both large and small animals.

About You You are a licensed veterinarian in good standing with the State of Pennsylvania, dedicated to practicing high-quality, evidence-based medicine. A lifelong learner, you value clear and effective communication with both clients and staff. You are patient with pet owners, even the difficult ones, and maintain a positive attitude in the exam room and treatment areas. Our team thrives on collaboration, so if you enjoy teaching others, you’ll fit right in.
