MedVet Dayton is seeking a daytime Veterinary Hospitalist for our growing ER and multispecialty hospital. The ideal candidate will be internship trained and/or have 3-5 years’ experience in a primary emergency or emergency/specialty hospital. The primary role of the Hospitalist is to provide consistent 24-hour doctor care for hospitalized patients that are not under the direct care of a specialty department. Responsibilities include oversight of all aspects of inpatient care, facilitation of patient transfer from the ER department to specialty departments, recovery and post-procedural care, and resuscitation of critically ill patients in the ICU.
