For over 20 years Long Lake Animal Hospital has taken pride in their continuous improvement and exceptional high-quality medicine. Our hospital is AAHA accredited, and our team is Fear Free Certified. We encourage our doctors to find their passion and we support personal growth, through our Mentorship Program, our Leadership Development Program and continuous education. We want to hear what your passion is.  We offer many services such as VOM, acupuncture, rehabilitation therapy, laser surgery, stem cell processing and treatment. Come with an interest and we will support it! We are currently a 2-doctor practice. Both of our doctors have years of experience making them outstanding collaborators. We welcome graduating Veterinarians to start their careers here with the support of the MVP Mentorship Program. For established Veterinarians we offer interesting, diverse, and challenging cases, with manageable caseloads and a fair Work-Life balance.

Traverse City, MI has become a favorite tourist destination! We are surrounded by beautiful lakes, vineyards, farmland, cherry trees and a vibrant art & music community. There are lovely little towns to explore with unique shopping and restaurants as well as beautiful nature trails enjoyed year-round. Our hospital is located on the west side of Traverse City, walking distance to the public beach on Long Lake. Our hospital sits on 3.5 acres, backing up to a conservancy with hiking trails to a quiet lake; often a lunch break favorite.
