ALL CREATURES ANIMAL CLINIC [ACAC] is seeking 1 or 2 recent graduates, who are looking for a place to belong. We are offering a unique opportunity to be mentored by 2 Veterinarians with a combined 77 years’ experience from very diverse backgrounds.  One doctor started his career as a mixed animal practitioner, then completed a Therio residency, served as an extension veterinarian, owned a swine practice, owns a research facility and is currently teaching swine medicine and nutrition courses at Auburn College of Veterinary Medicine, while working at ACAC an average of 3.5 days per week. The practice owner began his professional career in lab animal research. Followed by mixed practice, 20 years large animal ambulatory, and 6 years emergency clinic practice and has worked relief work in 50 different clinics.

We are offering an opportunity for recent graduates to grow professionally in an environment where they can practice without pressure. Where the only expectation is that they do their best every day. It is our goal to treat each client the way we want to be treated.

We have been practicing for a little over 2 years in a building that has been a veterinary clinic for 47 years. In the short time ACAC has been operating we have experienced a surprisingly rapid growth.  Seven acres have been purchased across the road from the current clinic with plans to build a state-of-the-art facility as soon as possible.

We have an excellent staff that likes each other and enjoys their work.

The clinic is located in Jasper, Alabama a growing community 45 minutes from Birmingham. It is nestled 15 minutes from the pristine waters of Smith Lake and 15 minutes from Bankhead National Forest and Wilderness area. There is also a unique opportunity to fish for rainbow trout in the tail waters of Smith Lake.

We expect to pay a very competitive salary with a quick path to ownership. The owner Dr. Barker is very involved in church activities and foreign mission work. He is seeking to have more time to dedicate to these activities.
