Position: Full time Practice Manager. My Vet is seeking an energetic, motivated, professional to lead our busy, four-doctor general practice. This position is best filled by someone who enjoys building and coaching a team and thrives on the challenge of growing the organization. The candidate will work closely with the owners of the practice to build the business infrastructure and prepare the hospital for growth. This person must have excellent problem solving and customer service skills, leadership skills and business focus. Human Resources: The duties include fine tuning the skills of the staff through coaching and ongoing training of the team. This will include holding each team member accountable for their job duties. They will be responsible for Human Resource hiring, scheduling, managing and handling any human resource concerns. Marketing: Creative marketing and promotion of My Vet to recruit new customers and solidify client loyalty. Continuing to grow the business both externally and internally by implementing new ideas to drive and grow the busines. Setting production goals for the team. Daily Operations: Implementing new policies and procedures. Keeping operations running smoothly on a day to day basis and supporting the veterinarians. Providing an atmosphere where the team can focus on delivering excellent care to patients. Directing any IT issues, equipment maintenance concerns, inventory ordering and management. Ideal Candidate is goal driven, people oriented, team motivating and embodies our core values of positivity, being a team player, aiming to exceed client expectations, while having compassion for coworkers, pet owners and their pets. This person must be a excellent communicator. Must have at least two years of experience in either a busy general veterinary practice or other medical office management. Minimum requirements include demonstrated competence in budgeting, financial reporting, staff management, and must be able to work under the general administrative supervision of the owners Must have 4 year college degree in healthcare administration, business or related degree, with experience and skills in communication and managing. CVPM cadidates will also be considered. Must be flexible with working uncommon hours in emergency situations.
