FT Veterinary Practice Manager: A Caring Vet Hospital, Lindon Utah

We treat dogs, cats, ferrets, birds, rabbits, rodents, reptiles, hedgehogs, sugar gliders and occasional wildlife.
We need an experienced, full time veterinary practice manager to lead and manage our well trained and experienced support staff for both locations. VHMA certification is not required, however, if the successful applicant is not certified they will be expected to pursue additional training and certification with the VHMA over time, with the assistance and support of the practice owner. This position will require at least 1-2 years experience in veterinary related management positions. This position will be responsible for overseeing all day to day management issues of 2 hospitals. You will not be expected to do everything, but to see that everything is being done, and to provide guidance and training when and where needed if things are not getting done. Most of the duties of this position are office work, not directly patient or client related. This is a salaried position, with compensation based on education, training and experience starting at a minimum of $45,000 annually.
Our hospitals treat a wide range of pet species. However, applicants do not need experience with non-traditional species. Applicants need to be able to collaborate in providing an excellent level of professional medical care and client service, and to push the boundaries of excellence forward, while overseeing business management issues such as human resources, advertising, computer networking, accounts receivable, inventory management and purchasing, financial reporting and budgeting, working hand-in-hand with support staff. Compensation is competitive, based on experience, with growth possible. Our hospital is open 10 hours a day, from 8 am to 6 pm Monday through Saturday. Additional Salary Information: Experienced applicants with a 4-year college degree and CVPM status can expect salary up to $70,000 annually.
