Ambulatory Associate Veterinarian Position Available on Southern Vancouver Island, BC.
Swiftsure Equine Veterinary Services Ltd is seeking an Ambulatory Associate Veterinarian to join our successful and friendly equine veterinary practice in beautiful Victoria, BC.
SEVS focuses on providing excellent quality and compassionate care to its patients while establishing enduring veterinary-client relationships. Many of the clientele have been loyal since its infancy and our aim is to develop and maintain those valued relationships. SEVS strives to provide progressive and individualized medicine in its ambulatory setting with up-to-date equipment and collegial relationships with local specialists. The practice consists of an even distribution of competitive/performance, lesson, pleasure and senior horses.
SEVS currently employs two equine veterinarians and three support staff and is seeking to add a colleague to help relieve the growing caseload. SEVS desires to provide a positive, cooperative team environment and a healthy work-life balance for all its employees. The successful applicant will have excellent interpersonal skills and be interested in developing personable relationships with diverse clients. He/she needs to be team-oriented, passionate, energetic, and have a hard-working positive attitude. A DVM degree, completion of an internship and eligibility for licensure in BC are also required.
The position includes a generous benefit package including extended health benefits, paid CE and CVBC license fees. Wages will reflect level of experience.
