Coastal Equine Veterinary Service has a career opportunity for an equine veterinarian with a minimum one year of experience. We are searching for an outgoing, confident individual with excellent communication skills to compliment our close-knit team. Applicants must be able to transition from working with upper level performance horses to backyard pleasure horses.
Our practice is a fully computerized, ambulatory practice which services southeastern Virginia and northeastern North Carolina. To provide the level of service our clients deserve, we utilize top of the line diagnostic and therapeutic equipment including digital radiography, ultrasonography, endoscopy, shockwave as well as an In-house laboratory.
Compensation package includes salary/commission, malpractice insurance, pertinent licenses, select membership dues, 401K, stipend for continuing education, and health insurance. Vehicle and inventory are supplied.
We are located in a very temperate climate geographically positioned near the Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic Ocean. There are four very nice and distinct seasons, with a predominance of warm weather. The surrounding area supports a huge variety of recreational activities, and the metropolitan area supports a wide variety of entertainment opportunities. Public schools are rated as very good.
