We know you want to practice high-quality medicine with a great staff. We know you want in-house bloodwork, digital radiology (dental too!), and a modern, dedicated surgery suite.  You also most likely want paperless records. River Road Animal Hospital can offer all that, but so do other practices.

We have 4 other experienced doctors who actually enjoy rounding.

Four experienced vet techs who are eager to work and are fun to be around.

We’re appointment only, so no walk-ins, no on-call, no emergency coverage (we have several great emergency clinics within a 45-minute drive). 

We do not work weekends, and there is a built-in 3-day weekend every month. 

We are a family-managed practice with consistent leadership for more than 20 years. Our location can’t be beat: Puyallup, Washington, is a desirable bedroom community between Seattle and Tacoma, which are among the top places to live in the country. Our economy is booming, jobs are plentiful, schools and healthcare exceptional, the mountains and ocean are both a short drive away -- can you tell we like it here?

We are currently doing a major construction project. We are updating our treatment room, surgery kennels, all 6 of our exam rooms, and adding 2 more exam rooms.

One surgery day a week.

Must have or be able to get a Veterinary License in the State of Washington. new grads are welcome to apply. Full-time or part-time.

We cannot sponsor foreign veterinarians at this time.

Have to hold a DVM or equivalent degree and be able to get a Veterinary License in the state of Washington
