WHO WE NEED:
Pet Community Center is seeking candidates for the position of Medical Director to join our team.
We have a professional, supportive, hardworking team of technicians, assistants, and administrative personnel.
The Medical Director is a key member of our leadership team who oversees our medical staff, sets medical and training protocols, and creates and executes strategy and annual plan initiatives. The Medical Director performs high volume spay/neuter surgeries, wellness care, and some additional medical procedures.
Our surgeons are responsible for the comfort and safety of all surgical patients in their care and for performing high-volume spay/neuter surgery in accordance with our high quality standards and SOPs.
At least one year of experience as a high volume spay/neuter surgeon (30+ surgeries per day) is preferred.
IS IT YOU?
There’s a chance you may be our ideal Medical Director if you meet the description above, and if:
--Even though you often find yourself teaching others, you live to learn more and geek out on JAVMA articles --After a long day of helping 30+ families and their pets, you still have the energy to hit the town with your friends --You have a bunch of gross pictures on your phone (of surgeries!) that you can only share with other veterinarians --You don’t take life (or yourself) too seriously and are quick to laugh! --You would love to be part of a team that has fun every day, and you consider medical excellence to be a bottom line.
Additional Salary Information: We offer a highly competitive salary based on experience, plus strong benefits for full time staff, including medical, dental and vision plan, generous paid time off and holiday pay, plus discounted gym membership with medical plan.
