Outside of Charlotte and close to Harrisburg, Greenock Farm Veterinary Hospital is a practice located on ten acres of beautiful farm land in the town of Midland, North Carolina.
We are seeking a qualified, experienced, small animal Veterinarian with practice experience to meet the needs of our growing community. We are interested in an applicant that can diagnose and treat appropriately, but also has compassion and can communicate with and have respect for our clients, who regard their pets as family members. The applicant should also want to teach and encourage our staff members. A sense of humor is a prerequisite.
Presently, Greenock Farm Veterinary Hospital consists of three small animal veterinarians, two equine veterinarians, and twelve full and part time staff consisting of licensed technicians and experienced veterinary assistants.
We are well equipped with Sound digital Radiology (in house as well as portable), Fuji Digial Ultrasonography, endoscopy, and LiteCure Companion Laser Therapy. Our top notch surgery team offers our clients soft tissue, orthopedic and dental care. The in-house lab is well equipped, consisting of Abaxis and Heska blood machines, though we also utilize Antech Diagnostics.
Small animal after-hours, weekend emergency care, and referral cases are directed to specialty/emergency hospitals in the Charlotte or Cabarrus area.
Large animal after-hours care is handled by our on call ambulatory veterinarian.

Two years of veterinary clinical experience is necessary. Candidate must be available weekdays and alternating Saturdays. We are looking for a medicine oriented practitioner. Must be licensed in NC or be able to obtain a NC license quickly.
Additional Salary Information: Compensation will be determined based on applicant experience. We offer a great benefits package that includes a $1500.00 continuing education fund, as well as provision for all licensure, insurance, and fees.
We are a rural mixed animal practice, primarily equine and canine/feline, centrally located in an area bounded by Charlotte, Concord and Monroe, NC.
