Want to help save cats and dogs? We need veterinarians who want to do spay/neuter surgeries, work our low-cost vaccine clinic (on-site and in high-poverty neighborhoods in our service area), and/or provide shelter medicine for our shelter partners who have asked us to provide services for their shelter animals. In addition to the satisfaction of knowing that you are making a positive impact on the cats and dogs in our community, the variety of the work available also keeps the job interesting and provides you with a wide array of experience.

Requirements include a current Ohio veterinarian license, capability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, great attention to detail, proficient restraint of dogs and cats, and the ability to handle a physically demanding job. For those interested in being a spay/neuter surgeon, prior surgery experience is required.

UCAN is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization and can offer low-cost spay/neuter and vaccination services thanks to generous private donations and grants.
