Animal Emergency Medical Center is a 24/7/365 animal emergency and referral practice in Torrance, California. We provide surgery, internal medicine, and emergency medicine to the local community. We are a little more than a mile away from beautiful Southern California beaches, have excellent air quality and an unparalleled, temperate climate where you can enjoy the outdoors 365 days a year. In addition to miles of beautiful beaches, Animal Emergency Medical Center is a short drive from the mountains, award-winning wineries, a National forest, professional and college-level sporting events, and world class museums and entertainment venues.
We are looking to add an Emergency Veterinarian. The practice has digital radiology, ultrasound, video endoscopy, surgical ventilation, and full diagnostic laboratory on-site. CT is available as part of our complementary services. Our support staff is experienced and well-trained in ICU/Critical Care, procedures, and anesthesia.
The ideal candidate would be willing and able to help grow the Emergency and Critical Care department by offering excellent diagnostic abilities compassionate and dedicated client and patient care, and outstanding referring veterinarian communication. Soft tissue surgical skills are a definite plus. Mentoring and guidance is provided.
