Veterinary Specialists and Emergency Services located in Rochester, New York has multiple FT opportunities for Surgical Technicians. Training & mentorship will be provided.
Hours: Full time, day hours, on-call duties, some weekends, and 3 holidays per calendar year. Flexibility in schedule is required.

The Surgical Technician’s primary role works directly with doctors, interns and staff from multiple services to achieve a team-oriented working environment focused on quality care for our patients. Daily functions include: surgical anesthesia, assisting in surgical case preparation, MRI & CT safe anesthesia, client communication and overall patient care. The Surgical Technician is an essential member of the Surgical Team; a trained professional who possesses extraordinary technical skills as it relates to supporting all aspects of their service.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate must be proficient and comfortable with advanced anesthesia, exhibit a positive attitude, have strong organization and communication skills, and be able to think critically. 1-2 years related experience is preferred. NYS LVT license or reciprocal from other state required.
