COME WORK AT THE BEACH-Openings for Emergency Veterinarians
Our small animal practice is currently seeking to fill emergency veterinarian positions to support our busy general practice. We are staffed 24 hours a day so we can offer the care our patients need, when they need it. As a non-referral practice our veterinarians can practice emergency medicine while seeing clients that already know and trust our practice and are comfortable with our fees.
One year of experience. Multiple years of experience or completion of an internship in emergency medicine is considered a plus for applicants.
Virginia Veterinary License (or ability to obtain one)

COMPENSATION: We offer a competitive salary and benefits package including: health insurance,PLIT insurance, AVMA dues Virginia Veterinary license fee, VIN membership, DEA license fee, and continuing education allowance.
SCHEDULE: The emergency doctors will be scheduled for 14 shifts per month, including a maximum of 7 overnight shifts per 42 days. The distribution of shifts will allow ample time to enjoy all the outdoor activities our area provides as well as the easy ability to travel. If you are a doctor who really enjoys emergency medicine but do not enjoy the toll a frequently changing sleep schedule can cause, you may appreciate the ability to have a normal sleep schedule 5 out of every 6 weeks. You may also enjoy having 7 days in a row off, 2 out of every 6 weeks, as well as 3 or 4 days in a row off on other weeks.
