The SPCA of Texas is seeking a Surgery Veterinarian to help fulfil our mission.
The veterinarian will be required to perform a minimum of 40 spay and neuter surgeries per scheduled work day. The veterinarian may be asked to examine, diagnose, and treat diseases and injuries of private or shelter animals, primarily dogs and cats according to established guidelines.

Demonstration of the SPCA of Texas Core Values.
40 Spay & Neuter Surgeries per scheduled work shift.
Maintaining active Texas Veterinary license.
Maintaining $1,000,000.00 personal liability insurance.
Professional comportment and appearance, with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude.
The ability to make decisions and communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members.
Following the work direction of the Manager, Clinic Services regarding all issues except medical related issues.
Teaching, training, and/or assisting other Veterinarians and Technicians regarding shelter, surgery, or clinic medical related issues.
